About

DLS aka Gilles Hoffmann is a music producer from Luxembourg living in Brighton (United Kingdom) and is involved internationally in the music industry producing beats for singers and rappers in countries like Luxembourg, UK, USA, Brazil, Germany, France, Sweden, Nigeria, Australia, Jamaica, Indonesia and Vietnam.

DLS is focused on Hip Hop but can produce a wide range of music genres such as R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, Pop, Grime, Drum & Bass and Dubstep and almost any kind of Techno music such as Dance, House, Trance, Hardstyle, Jumpstyle, Hardcore and Euro Dance since starting making music at the age 13 in 2002. DLS is known for blending music genres and is set to take the music production to another level.

Currently DLS is working on a mixtape with Dub Fx, a worldwide street performer and studio recording artist which is due to be released in summer 2012. Furthermore, DLS is working on mixtapes and albums of both music veterans such as Ice Mc, a 90es Euro Dance legend and up and coming singers and rappers, while making remixes of popular songs by Luxembourg's Serge Tonnar, De Läb, T The Boss and Felly.

DLS is not limited to producing beats for others, but he is also releasing his own music projects. Up to date DLS has released 1 album and a variety of remix, instrumental and song mixtapes, totaling 14. The most successful release is a remix of Dub Fx's "Time Will Tell".

Over the last years DLS has been very active in remixing songs of independent and major artists including Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Public Enemy, Kid Cudi, Wale, Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Tiesto, Uffie and Jason Derulo to name a few. The newest remixes are of Ca$h Out, Cypress Hill and Rusko.

DLS has taken part in several remix contests of musicians and bands and won the ones of Dub Fx, Ciara Corr and Madelaine Bloom. Moreover, DLS placed 2nd in the Ca$h Out remix contest, became 3rd in the Shad & Dallas and Shakira feat. Pitbull remix competition and won a music production contest hosted by Navsta.
