About
Started producing in 1998 using an 8-track program called Ejay with ready made samples which was HipHop. In 2001 a friend got me into FL Studio (Fruityloops) and i made a garage beat but soon found breakbeats to create drum and bass.
2001 is the year i also found out about LK the track which for me said i want more of this from DJ Marky and XRS. From mid 2003 Calibre came along with his Dub / Soul sound and i wanted to make tunes with this vain, dub and soul, nothing else. I had made jungle for the American revival scene before hand and released a track on 'Survival Story Ragga Compilation 2005' also in that year i had a track on 'Step Express Records out of France, a track called 'Warrior Dub' but i started to feel like, no i need to focus on Drum and Bass coming from the UK only. Around 2006 i sent my early works to DJ Spindall of Rude FM fame and then forwarded some tracks onto Lady Flava after catching up at Turnmills Club in Farringdon. After the initial success of having hundreds of people tune in to their show and catching a glimpse of my studio output from both Flava and Spindall respectively. DJ Smitty, Terra and Mr Joseph caught wind of my works and began playing my output regularly on their shows. Mr Joseph offered me a chance to release and play at his Fizzy Night.
Fast forward to 2008 i started working with Chris Inperspective on a couple tracks which turned into a small LP project, he also helped shape my sound and see the direction my tracks should be going in. That same year i was invited to Tallinn, Estonia for the first time to play at 'Subfare'. In 2009 my tracks caught the attention of Justice from Modern Urban Jazz Records and he signed me to a remix E.P. he's planning, with his label partner Metro getting on the DE vibe to add my sound to their works.
2010 saw me link up with Ashatack and finally establish a connection after months of chasing me down to do an interview, i also started talks with a few other labels and eventually projects i have sitting around will come to fruition for the following years to come. I also had another chance to play at Fizzy Liquid, this time in the second room at Rhythm Factory as part of the Technicality Night (October 2010)
2011 - After much hard work and establishing contacts from London to the rest of the world. This same year i signed my debut album to Modern Urban Jazz, a label i've had mutual respect with since 2008.
