Frite Nite officially welcomes Charlotte-based DJ/production duo Clicks & Whistles into the fold, releasing an explosive 2-track single for the label’s 19th release.

Like many of their contemporaries, Clicks & Whistles (aka Jorge Hernandez and Petey Evans) take inspiration from a wide array of styles to create their own blend of sound system music -- but unlike most, they’re able cross between big room party aesthetics and musically interesting ideas seamlessly, incorporating intelligent soundscapes into street-friendly rhythms. C&W’s newest set of tracks “Fumando” b/w “Southern Slaw” is the perfect example, crafted for the discerning dancefloor selecter and the prime-time party DJ alike.

Both the smoked-out “Fumando” and trippy southern anthem “Southern Slaw” fit in the Amercian blitz of half-time Rap instrumentals gone rave, these will fit perfectly into any 70/140 BPM blend of high-energy pop rap hits, underground Grime or dirty east coast club tracks.
