Celestial Souls Norman Robb Glasgow Celestial Souls are 2 brothers from East Kilbride Scotland. Previously signed to Expat Records they released their debut EP 'Early Reflections' in April 2011. Their newest song 'Lost InTime' is in the final of the Highland Uproar Music Challenge and will be released later this year. From hypnotic ambient beats and experimental sounscapes to space age hypnotic grooves, Celestial Souls is like transient music as it moves between genres and styles on a nomadic tribal journey. They draw upon moods and emotions as the inspiration for the tracks, free from conventional song/chorus structure. Vocals tend to be more like the chants of shaman like rituals cleverly woven through hypnotic guitar riffs, tribal like rhythms and spine tingling synth pads. With soulful sax riffs and often understated but deeply captivating bass lines thrown in the sounds combine to create a web of melodic pleasure.
