Brainbheats is the alias of musician and producer Brian Healey. As an in-demand pianist, keyboardist, and member of a variety of projects, Brian has toured the country and performed alongside a wealth of world-class talent spanning a variety of genres, including: Maceo Parker, Charlie Hunter, !!! (chkchkchk), Benevento/Russo Duo, Chiddy Bang, Clark Terry, Delfeayo Marsalis, Andy Narell, Paquito D’Rivera, Ben Sollee, The Lee Boys, and many more. Brainbheats is a project that combines Brian’s loves of all things music, sound, and technology into an organic blend of traditional instrumentation and electronic programming. Influences range from the drum and bass mayhem of Aphex Twin to the rich harmony of Debussy, from the powerful melodicism of Sigur Ros to the exotic textures of Bjork, and beyond.
