Am a turntablist,and music maker,i loop and scratch and sample....been doing so since the age of 12 = 1985 then started to really scratch from the age of 14 onward,got my first technics back inthe early 1990's went though hell to get em! got a grant from prince's trust for 250 pounds but that really did not touch the surface of what i needed,so i had to get two jobs and do a bit of wheelin & dealin..always collected vinyl all through my life BUT am still searchin for the perfect beat.istarted with two bsm decks rigged up together in a wooden box with some amp which used to give off electric shocks(1988)from there i got some money to get my first sony and memorex decks (first pitch) there was on a pitch on one of em but not the other,then the prince trust helped me out with £250.00 which i bought arealistic mixer andsome vinyl,then i had to wheel and deal to get my sl1210 mk2,hadto sell sound lab mixer and turntables which got me enough money for my first technic sl1210mk2 the other was given to me by family still got em today but there in need of fixin,funny no ones asked me to scratch oat,good job as my crossfaders are broken as are my pitch on one deck and the audio cables on both turntables plus my needles are fixed on with! you dont want to know what!....am a Sikh,got religion,know my roots, 38 yrs of age really into makin and producing music but as always equipment has always been the problemwhen makin and producing,i try to do it all,but still unemployed(8 years),hope you enjoy my breaks,samples,scratches and loops use em and make something real with em,hopefully i'll get intouch with some peoples who know about makin vinyl records cause i got shit loads of samples,beats,breaks and other stuff to use.....GOT NO TIME FOR FAKER'S........ stay real and true ........
