"He is a case of a Hungarian beyond the borders, with his exact name Rõth Balázs (1985) aka Balien, who has functioned from 2007 officially as a DJ in Slovakia. Of course, with the world of disk packing and electronic music he started to deal with as 12 years old.
His style was marked by such classics as at this time world wide renowned Carl Cox,Sven Väth and at the same time the dynamical, rhythmical techno parties’ world. This rhythmic is still perceptible in his work. As 16 years old bought his first vinyl from artists like Adam Beyer, Hardcell&Grindvik, Jasper Dahlbäck, Fumiya Tanaka, Christian Smith, Umek...(Drumcode,Recycled Loops). At the beginning he started on a Tesla turntable his career, this was followed after by 2 pieces of Gemini TT02-MK2 And as it is usually forward written, the invitation for birthday parties and private events were coming after each other.
In 2007 he got to know Stephan Nemeth, who became his friend and his manager in one person. Their common creature were the Magna Project party series and group of DJs, which has made a big success in Southern Slovakia, that was the reason why did many personalities from the profession recognized the DJs of the group as Balien as well. As time passed by he developed himself in 3 genres:: deep house, tech-house and „the friend forever” techno. His play is characterized by quality, precise, bouncing tracks, with a bit of experimental Mediterranean atmosphere but mainly acoustic instruments are the main parts of his music.
The practice through years and ambitions were resulted in the first success in 2007 when he started to receive invitation to smaller then bigger parties (100-500 person), he organized the Magma Project series with lot of success, he received also invitation to many clubs, between them was the Colosso Grande in Sopron, where he was 5 times invited! In 2008 the well known DJ even in Hungary Michal Breeth (SK) recognized the young talent and invited him into the Radio FM’s special program called 4 ELEMENTS, where he made with him a short interview and a half an hour mix. In Hungary we could listen to him as first on 15th of November 2008 in Gyor, where the Magma Project Rebirth was organized. He has worked together with artists and renowned inland groups as Shabaam, DJ Breeth, Sterbinszky, Kühl, Jankec, Maxim Kuznyecov, ManicN, Damolh33 and the Dutch Peter Gelderblom .
In summer of 2010 he participated on a DJ Camp signed by the name of Andrewboy, what had changed significantly Balien’s career, in a positive way of course! Except of that he could learn during a week from Jay Lumen, Snake Sedrick and so on as the” resident” of Palace Club in Siofok, where he met also with those young talents with whom they later created the Next Generation DJ -company and group, which would like to develop and propagate the deep-tech-house genre between masses, starting with Budapest. Recently they are playing between the walls of Chachacha club in Margaret Island 2 times of a month!
In autumn 2010 inspired by the DJ Camp mentioned above he participated on I.TATAI DJ competition held in Tata Hungary, where he except of the 4. Place from 26 won also the Viewer’s Choice and the Special Award! After that his first compositions were published by the Deafness Records, where we can find Igor Do'urden aka Reecoba , Bourne, Streako, Sikztah and so on…
After that his number of performances has grown significantly, for example, in the world wide known Coronita Music Club Budapest, Retropolis, Palace Dance Club, Dance Tunning Disco, Colosso Grande, Club Magic, Freedom Dance Hall, NFG, Radost Club,Chachacha ..Except of. „clubbing“ he has participated as well on events of bigger volume organized in halls, for example the  Magma Project Rebirth on 15th of November 2008.
The year 2011 has brought him the biggest recognition next to the fact, that his dream came true with the provision to Beatport as producer. From that time amount of publishers was expanded by Sickvillage Recordings from Chile! Our man belongs to those performers who are playing something else for the audience (deep-tech,tech house) but he writes his own compositions in a bit of other style, that is why he has thought, that even the name cant be the same, if the music what he produces has 2 faces as well. That is the reason why do we find him on the web as Balage Roeth after the first presence.
On the beginning of 2012 he was found by two records, by Sickvillage Recordings from Chile and by the People Records from UK, which has given a new dynamism in building his career. Recently he is the resident of Arthe Café and the mostly wanted DJ of his region!
