50 Plays Dubstep mp3This track is based on Conrad, a member of the God Hand. In one scene in Berserk (the manga) he is shown is a pile of plague rats, so I wanted to portray the idea of pestilence. This is a work in progress still, and would love some suggestions as to where to go from here, because I am at a loss. ...Ceremony Uploaded by B.Ultra&Basic Start following Send a message on November 01, 2009 22:25

I agree with dynamic, you might wanna cut the intro here.

@Lazy Driftah: I know I lead into the main track with filtered drums so it ruins the element of 'surprise,' but I felt like coming in after sixteen bars was a little too predictable. Not that that's a bad thing really, but I thought that maybe by straying from being predictable might add a sense of unease. Still, comments duly (and dually) noted :D

A bit long of an intro for me at this point.
- B.Ultra&Basic on November 03, 2009 04:53
@Dynamic Interplay: I struggled with the length of the intro a bit, partly because I felt like a long intro conveys a deeper soundscape and gets the listener into a better spot to be blown away, but I was worried that a lot of people would stop listening by now.

@B.Ultra&Basic: I don't think the length per se is at issue, but it needs some more happening to keep interest. I think some very subtle "ghost" sounds or backgroun stuff would be enough to keep the listener engaged.

I wish I could get my DnB lines sounding this good. Very nicely done production wise.

I've taken a break from my second full length to work on an EP called "God Hand." It's a concept EP based on the world of the popular manga Berserk by Kentaro Miura. I've decided that my strength in producing electronic music has always been in the melody and the breakbeat, so for this project I ...
