Andrew Diego Andrew Diego Los Angeles I'm a vocalist and performer, interested primarily in the use of the voice as a multi-faceted instrument across a broad range of styles and genres. I love going into the studio and layering my voice 1000s of times, creating a sonic army of me that blends and distorts and tickles and grows and moves. That said, I'm not much for the so-called "contemporary" vocal music scene... you know, where the singer just makes strange, guttural sounds for 35 minutes... I don't really understand that so much. I have studied the vocal music of many different cultures, including Bulgaria, Persia, Brazil and American folk, in addition to my training in western classical technique. I hold a BFA in vocal performance from CalArts.
