JET COLLECTIVE : Derbyshire Suite - Live at Burton Institute, Winster by ZOO Music published on 2011-07-20T17:39:34Z <p>Performed Sun 9th October, Burton Institute, Winster, Derbyshire Eight musicians from the JET Collective spent a weekend developing the new suite of music inspired by Derbyshire Landscapes, customs and ideas, (originally begun at the first JETWorks weekend on June 25/26th), and then performing it on the Sunday evening - who knew what would happen? <p>Jet Collective is a recently formed group of professional Derbyshire jazz musicians who have come together to collaborate and explore musical opportunities outside our usual bands. <p>The musicians are Steve Salfield and Sara Littlefield on saxophones, Reg Clegg on guitar and bass, voice and production, Pat Sprakes on guitar and double bass, Paul Biggins on piano, bass and guitar, Wendy Kirkland on piano and vocals, Karen Clegg on vocals, keyboard, melodica and flute, Clive Loveday on drums.
