More info at http://www.yurituma.com/sobre-fondo-blanco.html Statement: The usage of primary, industrial and natural materials on this occasion explored its qualities both in its microcosm and in its macrocosm considering the five dimensions of a new post-natural landscape (distance, surface, interior, exterior and temporality) in relation to the imagination and the living (post) human spirit in the Capitalocene. I intend that my works function as agents for the process of thinking, studying and creating architecture by calling into question architectural utopias such as “The Garden Cities of To- Morrow” by Ebenezer Howard or the transcendental philosophy of the expressionist architects that made up the collective “ Crystal Chain ”and thus reflect on what these utopian thoughts can contribute or contradict / pervert in contemporary urban plans.
