Yoshi is an upcoming artist who is originally from the metro Atlanta area. He, in his own way, took a similar approach as Kanye West when it came to his music. Back in high school not only was he sampling and making beats for his friends to use and just enjoy in his bedroom, but was also a ghost writer for some other artist he was associated with. This went on for about a couple of years and eventually he started writing songs and rapping them himself. In that time period he has stepped away from making beats and is putting most of his efforts and fire power in being one of the best lyricists to come from the southeast region. In his short time period of rapping he has caught the attention of some class acts in the west coast such as Jay Rock and SZA, who are both signed to the well know independent record label Top Dawg Entertainment, under the management of Anthony Tiffith. His biggest inspirations consist of Outkast, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Jay Z, and Kanye West. With his ability to switch his flows up on the flip of a dime and the knowledge of music he already possesses, he will be a household name in only a matter of time.
