Toen ik in 2021 aan Smile begon te werken wist ik dat ik het nummer wou laten openbarsten in een echte #Tomorrowland-drop. Ik blijf er oprecht van overtuigd dat het origineel een prachtig eerbetoon is aan de sound die ik altijd al wou ontwikkelen.

Echter begon ik onlangs een andere kant van het nummer te ontdekken. De ongelofelijk breekbare vocals van Anneleen inspireerden me om het nummer eens helemaal tot z'n fundamenten te strippen en opnieuw op te bouwen in een #Lofi-vibe.

Dus voila, da's dit. Nog steeds 100% een belichaming van "Smile", maar toch een heel andere insteek.
