"Dropping Out Isn't Even An Option" by WSKG Youth Voice published on 2013/03/25 15:06:54 +0000 "If I were to drop out, it will be really hard to get a good job that you can make a living off of. So, I noticed that dropping out turns out to be more work in the end than it would be to finish school." Tim, Grade 11, talks about his reasons for becoming a high school graduate. This young man has a unique and mature viewpoint! "I also feel like, as an American, it is my duty to graduate, so I can help my county not go further down the road of unemployment," says Tim. "I know when I get a job and make money and spend money, it will help the economy out." Tim plans to pursue a career as a pipeline welder.
