WRGC Presents | Peter Selgin Reading from The Inventors by WRGC published on 2016-05-25T18:19:00Z This episode of WRGC Presnts features a literary reading convened in celebration of the publishing of writer Peter Selgin’s new memoir The Inventors. Selgin is a dramatist, essayist, novelist and artist and a member of the faculty corp at Georgia College. The Inventors is a memoir about the relationships Selgin shared with his father and a favorite teacher from his adolescence. The program begins with short fiction and poetry readings by Shane Moritz and Dustin Junkert, both Master of Fine Arts students in the Creative Writing Program at Georgia College and an essay by Devin Latham, a writer and teacher, who much to our chagrin, is leaving Milledgeville to continue her education at the University of North Texas. We close our program with Peter Selgin reading several excerpts from the Inventors. This reading was recorded on May 5th, 2016 at the Good Karma Center for Yoga and the Healing Arts in downtown Milledgeville. Genre Storytelling
