U.S. Empire and the Global Order with Max Elbaum by WORT 89.9FM Madison

Continuing his ongoing discussion of global politics, Allen is joined today by Max Elbaum to talk about his recent co-authored piece, "Trumpism's Global Strategy." Over the course of the hour, they touch on U.S. empire, the neoliberal global order, the situation in Venezuela and Latin America, the left's response to Trump, and the importance of rebuilding a strong anti-war movement.

Max Elbaum is co-editor of Organizing Upgrade and the author of several books, including the recently republished Revolution in the Air: Sixties Radicals Turn to Lenin, Mao, and Che. He was editor of CrossRoads magazine in the 1990s and a founder of War Times/Tiempo de Guerras. He has been actively involved in peace and anti-racist movements since joining Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) in Madison, Wisconsin in the 1960s.
