by Wolf Trap
Wolf Trap release number 9, 'Pang' comes from label owner Tim Cook. Tim's had releases on Railyard Recordings, Kismet and Fade Records to name a few and has been producing under the name of Sousk for a couple of years now.
DJ and musical alchemist, Noah Pred has provided the remix for this release. Canadian Pred, label boss of Thoughtless Music, is now based in Berlin. He's performed all over the world and has an impressive discography. Recent releases on Trapez Ltd., Highgrade, Cynosure, Regular and Siteholder have earned him renewed focus on his distinctive production style.
A. Sousk 'Pang' (Original Mix): Sousk reveals a lighter side with this track. This is wide-eyed sunshine and soul. It's got a real uplifting groove, luscious squelchy pads, a haunting vocal and the sweet sound of distant birds and shooting stars. In a club, on the beach...this is one to make you feel good.
B. Sousk 'Pang' (Noah Pred Perpetual Hunger Mix): With a tougher edge but still staying in touch with the chilled vibe of the original, Pred's remix really brings energy to the track. The stripped, drum-heavy intro builds deliciously, layering elements of the original
track until it all bubbles into one beautiful groove.
