"I was buying records even before i thought of becoming a Dj and i have always enjoyed a broad range of music long before that time..
My folks always had something on playing as i was growing up, mum played the guitar and loved her Motown, Mike Oldfield, Stones, Beatles and so on. My father was very much into allsorts too, from Jean Michel Jarre to John Lee Hooker and B B King, to folk, rock and everything inbetween..
So yeah, at an early age started to discover, explore and found There is a lot of good music out there.
60's,disco,dub,rock,funk,soul,acoustic,ambient etc the list can go on..Its all good and i always like finding a new track..It's all so inspiring and a source of many ideas.
After Dj'ing and hanging out in record shops for much of my teens into my late 20's, i decided to get into production, things had become more accessible with technology, so i start trying to push boundary's".. I knew virtually nothing about music construction when i started out, other than the recorder when i was about 5"..Managed to retain some of that and it's good to be putting it to some use and be building on it..I love the vibe you can get from the music and the way it can move you physically and emotionally..
Alot of my friends rip jokes as i used to play hardcore techno ( and Still do when i can ), but i will always catch them bouncing along..music is great, it's kept me out of trouble and got me through some right old times". Something i am very grateful for..
My kids love it too, and also share a huge bug for music..
