He left home in Scotland aged 16 and lived in various cities round the UK, playing in bands and busking his own songs on the street, where he developed his unique, powerful voice, and dark song writing style. He released two solo acoustic albums ("PARK" and "TUNNEL") with Tentacule Records in Bordeaux, before joining forces with the beatmaker FORM to create the electronica/ hip hop project Newton Colours (Tentacule Records/ Echo Orange). They released three albums in three years to positive critical acclaim: "Will Dee spits and croons his cold lyrics over FORM's beats in melodies that work like trances, whose catchy, endearing loops end up leaving the listener in a state of stoned ecstasy." - Rolling Stone, France. His first solo hip hop album, "New Beats and Pinties!!" was released September 2019. His second solo album, "Ghosts", came out in May 2020, a collection of hip hop songs haunted by phantoms of folk song styles.
