Radio Free Burrito Presents: Luana the Living by Ray Bradbury by Wil Wheaton published on 2020-05-03T19:17:38Z I've been looking for some classic Bradbury to narrate, and last night, I finally found some! This story was written in 1940, and collected into this paperback in 1973. It is *exactly* the kind of book I would have picked up from the spinning rack of fifty cent paperbacks in the drugstore. https://archive.org/details/MoscowitzSamAndAldenH.Nortoned.HorrorsInHiding1973/mode/2up Genre Audiobooks Comment by Carol Elaine Cyr 1) I love your reading of this little known story, Wil, and for introducing us to it. So very good! 2) Thank you for the book link! I've also been recording stories - both my own and public domain - and the link that you've provided also has stories by Arthur Conan Doyle and August Derleth, two writers whom I love. I know what stories are next on deck for me! 2020-05-21T23:32:03Z Comment by MarcyB If I had accidentally said "to blave" I would have burst out laughing - kudos for the small nod of appreciation at the humor before moving on with the reading, I was impressed. 2020-05-14T20:34:49Z Comment by dhr Wil -- This is awesome! We will soon publish this story and much of Bradbury's other early fanzine writing (1937 - 1941) in an upcoming book, "The Earliest Bradbury." See firstfandomexperience.org for details. 2020-05-14T13:06:54Z Comment by dontupshootmebro Book starts here 2020-05-14T02:55:34Z Comment by SamSimon Bradbury, now that was unexpected! May you and yours stay healthy and happy. I've been a Bradbury fan from the first thing I read by him, and I loved hearing this early story. Take care!!! 2020-05-03T20:17:32Z
