El Paso, Texas
Born in the 1985, The Dave grew up in a single-parent household and quickly developed an interest in writing and music. He was originally interested in playing drums, but was put in piano lessons at a young age and started writing around the time he was 8. Bored with piano, he quit lessons and continued to write in journals up to his 13th birthday, when he was given an acoustic guitar. He then made the transition to songwriting and developed a talent for lyrics and poetry, which would later describe as being one of the only things to "keep him sane" all throughout his high school years. During this time he was also becoming more confident with his singing voice as well, all the while founding and participating in several incarnations of the band that would ultimately come to be known as Splitface.
Once he entered college, he decided to major in music theory and composition, joining the university chorus and further developing his voice. His interest in recording started to solidify as he began to record songs at home and even engineered and produced a demo for then-local band, Reeks Of Failure. He changed majors to Electronic Media and kept Music as a minor, going to karaoke nights around town to remain comfortable onstage.
Towards the later years of his college career, he took up photography as yet another artistic outlet, teaching himself Photoshop and relying on a natural eye for good shots.
Most recently, he has expanded into the worlds of acting, podcasting and stand-up comedy. He played a minor role in the zombie film "T.O.R.R." by local independent filmmaker Robert Towne. In October of 2011, he co-founded the podcast "Revolution of the Bored" with like-minded madman and longtime high school friend, Josh "Morfiend" Piñon.
In February of 2012, David made his return to the stage, this time as a stand-up comic. He joined forces with the comedy troupe, Hazardous Humor, and rounded out their lineup as one of their darker, more offensive comics. It was later that year that he rejoined forces with Robert Towne to play a part in his film "Oro del Diablo", which was released in August of 2013.

I don't necessarily like to stick to one genre, so you're likely going to see me post songs that are completely different from one another. Check out the section labeled "The Music" on this page to hear my songs.
I'm still teaching myself photography, and I should be posting some of my work here shortly. Right now I'm mainly photographing models, but I plan on expanding later on.
