"Use me. Here I am LORD, you can use me."
I remember sitting by mom’s computer at the age of 16 and writing and record what I didn't at the time, know what I was writing. Fast forward to know, that’s exactly what He's doing. It went from asking, to my life's motivation of bringing God glory.
There are very few people you can run into whose family member(s) is considers the greatest. Very many want to leave a legacy or an impact on the earth, but few wants to do it for the right reasons. RNavi is considered to be involved in the few, coming from the Jimi Hendrix legacy. Sure he has kids who’s in the music industry, but all of them aren’t in it for Jesus?
Royale Martin-Navidad was born and raised in Stockton California. As a child, RNavi had dreams of one day being a rapper. A rapper, who was good at it, had the money and fame. When he was in High School in 2008, RNavi began to discover God's gift when he paired up with his cousin Mr.R-Mac and Delcon "Qwalidy" Andrews to form the Younginz. "Delcon was our top artist. He came on any beat i produced for us and would kill it. The same went for R-Mac (at the time he went by Ranyl-Go). So the high school we went, would know about us. We use to say we were famous already. Our direction at the time was the same generic perspective of Success. Women, Fame and Sex ( I'm still a virgin, dedicated to God's word which says to wait, be directed to your wife). We eventually broke up the group...and this is where I am now. Looking back, it was all God. I and R-Mac are doing youth outreach and for Qwalidy, he's not yet saved.)
RNavi gave his life to Christ at the age of 12. "I didn’t know what i was doing, but it worked out."
RNavi began to slowly notice the change in his life. "It wasn’t the same cliché way but, it was something different. I remember that conversation I had with the HS. Ha, I went back and forth with him, trying to understand that moment at alter call at WWOC. It was like Oh my! He gave his life, why cant i do the same. From that day out, I was rededicated to Jesus." That’s been RNavi's Jump Start. ?" Pastors and leaders like Bishop Mark Filkey, Pastor Willie Lopez, my spiritual father Markus Jake Filkey, and artists like Nate " O.C.T.A.N.E." Scott and Dwight "Stuey" Jackson began to train me in the mission field," says Navi. "I didn’t know what Gods plans were, all it took was a WHOLE LOT of TRUST and SUBMISSION.
RNavi hasn’t yet released a debut album, and anticipates to soon in the near future. “I can’t rush God's Work; I'm doing what he wants me to do know." Releasing albums, making money and becoming famous aren’t his focus or his call. His call is to be a servant of Jesus Christ. “God told me his call for his life is the youth. It's to outreach and spread Jesus Christ. It was hard to receive that, but over time I came to accept it (had no choose, He's GOD for crying out loud. It would’ve happened anyway)." A godly man once told him, "Your God Call isn’t your dream, it’s you everyday life. It'll become you."
"From being an Unashamed Christian, Family Centered, Minister, Musician, poet or whatever the title is, I have to do it remembering God is First. My walk, life and (future) wife is God being the centered attention.
