INTRODUCTION From a mandate by God the Father through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; we exist to increase godliness in our everyday lives through commitment to living as members of the family of God into which we have been adopted by grace. MISSION The Westridge church of Christ exists to increase godliness in the everyday lives of its ever increasing membership which comes from and lives in an ungodly world. We are uncompromisingly committed to: (1) defining godliness, patiently training in godliness, pursuing godliness and giving in to the transforming power of godliness, while (2) steadily growing our membership. Our objective is to forge godliness into the hearts of our members to the extent that godliness is reflected in our actions, conversations and personal choices in their homes, marriages, workplaces, schools, and in every forum in which we find ourselves. DESCRIPTION The Westridge Church of Christ is located in beautiful Nassau, Bahamas. Nassau (New Providence really) is an island that is 21 miles long by 7 miles wide with a population of 260,000. The Bahamas is 50 miles southeast of Florida, or a short 45 minute flight from Miami or Ft Lauderdale to Nassau's Lynden Pindling International Airport. Our planned facilities will be located 4 miles east of the airport. Westridge Church of Christ is a progressive congregation, not bound by church traditions that find no support in Scriptures, but we are fully committed to discipleship of Jesus; knowing, and following ALL of God's will in accordance with His Holy Word. Westridge is NOT a racially segregated congregation. The population of our country is: Blacks 85%, Whites 12%, Hispanic 3%, Asians or Indo-Caribbean 3%.
