Icarus Rising by Wild Whispers published on 2020-04-15T16:38:36Z Wild Whispers is a harmony-driven cinematic pop duo formed by Eli Lev and Megan Leigh. After various solo ventures and cross-country tours in 2019, the pair came back to Western Maryland and began writing songs for their newly-formed project. The first single of three, Icarus Rising, released September 2nd, 2020. Produced in Nashville, TN, Icarus Rising features strong male / female vocals and a full, ethereal sound. With catchy melodies, unexpected harmonies, and thoughtful lyrics, the song has mainstream appeal but utilizes unique arrangements that push the sonic envelope. It is the first release from the newly formed duo and will be followed by two more singles in 2021 to form a trilogy based on the Greek myth of Icarus's journey to the sun.
