September 2020 WATERtea: Thriving for the Long Haul by Women's Alliance (WATER) published on 2020-09-23T16:18:32Z Starting with a short memorial meditation on the Notorious RBG, including a reading of Maya Angelou's poem "When Great Trees Fall" by Maryam Monsef, we then turned to breakout groups to discuss what's next for WATERteas, brainstorming ideas for themes and subjects of conversation. The Tea was ended with a recording of Sweet Honey and the Rock and Vocal Essence performing "Ella's Song."
