Alone by wanderingendorphin published on 2013-01-17T08:33:17Z I struggled with the arrangement of this song. For a long time I could not decide if i should strum the guitar, finger-pick it, or a combo of both. Why decide on one when I can have it all? This tune has a beautiful 3 part acoustic guitar arrangement that includes a baritone guitar I wish I still had. Love the pedal steel on this one. That's John Pirruccello playing (Guitarist for Keith Richards, Nicholas Tremulis, Brad Peterson). I wouldn't normally write a oh poor me breakup song but this had some nice visuals and I think the idea behind it is pretty original. I think someone hearing this song and being in that state of mind where they just involved in the ending a romantic relationship might really connect with this.
