MIKE FREUND William Michael FREUND Summerville, SC After making his introduction during the mid 90's as the lead guitar player in the PHILADELPHIA based band "PIMPHAT", W. M FREUND steadily widened his approach over the years, encompassing everything from acoustic-folk to adult contemporary. Influenced by artisted like The Allman Brothers, James Taylor, Buddy Guy, Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, The Meters, ZZ Top, Sly and the Family Stone, Amos Lee, James Brown, and Dave Mathews, he eventually landed in Charleston, SC. Today you can find this electric guitarist performing all around the Lowcounty, either fronting "The Mike Freund Band", or working as a solo acoustic artist. With the retention of his pop/rock foundation, he readily and fluently performs up and down the South East Coast line.
