VV Brown - Topliner VV Brown London VV Brown is a classically trained pianist, trumpeter and drummer. She has been in the industry for 15 years performing on the international stage and song writing for herself and for other artists. In 2005 she co- wrote, "I Don’t Need A man", for the Pussy Cat Dolls alongside Ron Fair and Rich Harrison. She then went on to co-write the Sugababes UK top 10 hit Denial with the production team The Invisible Men for their 5th studio album Change. In 2008 she signed to Island records and released her critically acclaimed debut album Traveling like the light to positive reviews. Traveling like the light became one of the most synced albums of 2010/2011 and its catalogue consistently maintains solid income through syncs within film, digital and television today. VV went onto sell over half a million records worldwide with her debut album leading to a number one record in France. In 2010 VV had the opportunity to co-write 2 songs for the American idol winner Fantasia Barrio. This Album, Side Effect Of You, was nominated for a Grammy in 2013. In 2013 VV went on to set up her own record label YOY records and released her critically claimed album Samson and Delilah with an average of 4**** reviews across the international press broad sheets. VV now continues to release her own music independently and focuses on writing for other artists on an international level. Due to the nature of her changing career she is able to write in various styles from pop, alternative to electronic and looks forward to utilising her skills as she continues pursuing her love for music and the art of song writing.
