Illuminated River by VocalEyesAD published on 2019-08-08T10:18:48Z Audio descriptions of Illuminated River, a major public artwork lighting nine bridges across the River Thames. American artist Leo Villareal, worked with architects Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands to create the kinetic installation, which commenced in 2019 and was completed in 2021.The artwork is lit from dusk each day. Following an introductory track, there is a track for each of the nine bridges: London, Cannon Street, Southwark, and Millennium bridges from 2019; Blackfriars, Waterloo, the Golden Jubilee footbridges, Westminster and Lambeth bridges from 2021. They include extracts of original music by composers at Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
