This piano medley is from an imaginary game.

In this game, you are the spirit of light and peace, but you're overtrown by the spirit of darkness and war.

It's a story-driven and linear-like game.

Bar 1 - 18: The spirit of darkness gets presented. In the small impro sections, you can imagine him destroying samll things like flowers and bushes, and in the repeated theme sections, he jumps from one place to another with only destruction in his mind.

Bar 19 - 27: The spirit of light comes in and makes the spirit of darkness go away in a quick battle. In bar 27, the spirit of light manages to get rid of it.

Bar 28 - 38: The spirit of light gets presented. She brings back life to the destroyed plants and animals. Imagine aswell a beatiful scenery with huge field of flowers and mountains with a lot of valleys in the background.

Bar 39 - 44: Shock! The spirit of darkness returns and makes thy sky go red, the plant go gray, and the animals squeeze themselfes like sponges. This painful image goes on for a while.

Bar 45 - 60: It's like bar 1 - 18, but imagine the roles of the spirits having switched. The spirit of light tries to return some of the life, going for place to place, hiding form the spirit of darkness. But it's no use, the spirit of darkness has become too powerful.

Bar 61 - 69: Like bar 19 - 27, but this time, it's an epic battle between light and darkness. By the end, the spirit of darkness wins, and the spirit of light has to flee to another place, where darkness hasn't yet fallen over the lands.

This medley only covers the darkest of times, way before the spirit of light regains the lands from the spirit of darkness.

This piano piece was written and performed in about 24h (inicluding when I was not working on it), and was made for the "OST Composing Jam: CRUNCHTIME", hosted by Lone Rabbit.
