TTGL #2: NASA Climate Scientist Dr. Ben Cook (Wine & Climate Change) by The Viticole Podcast published on 2018-12-27T19:52:36Z Brian's continued interview with NASA Climate Scientist Benjamin Cook - here Brian and Ben dig deeper into the effects of Climate change on some of our favorite growing regions... Genre Science Comment by User 274252499 As an Agronomist and wine geek, I appreciate the CO2 discussion. It has long been an area if study in our field but as of recent, there are tests for “soil health” based on CO2 production by microbial activity in the soil sample. Pretty bad ass to focus on the biology as a productivity indicator versus the widely used chemical analysis or phyiscal testing. 2019-01-16T07:05:20Z Comment by Dylan Grigg Google. Xylella fastidiosa. the GWSS is the vector. What if there were alternative vectors due to more favourable conditions not just GWSS? 😬 2019-01-03T12:52:44Z Comment by Dylan Grigg there would actually be benefits to counter changes in climate from this point. rootstocks can have a profound effect to mitigate environmental variables 2019-01-03T12:07:45Z Comment by Dylan Grigg The question might be planting from seed so the plant has a chance of a true tap root. 2019-01-03T12:04:50Z
