I have always intended to include a 'sleeping/dreaming' song during this album. It is meant to played straight after Euston without a break. Because it is supposed to represent a sleeping state, I have chosen a snippet from the opera 'Die Walkure', by Richard Wagner. This chord progression symbolises a 'magic sleep' in the original opera. I've added bits and pieces to it and turned it into a loop with beats etc. Interestingly, one of Wagner's greatest champions, the Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw, lived nearby in Fitzroy Square.
