Videlina was born in Plovdiv, Bulgaria in 1978. She entered the world of music at the age of 6 when she started taking piano lessons. In the Secondary School of Music in Plovdiv continues to study classical piano, musical theory, harmony, solfeggio, etc. She became involved in singing and started developing her vocal skills, influenced by music, lyrics and philosophy of Erykah Badu. Soon after that Videlina makes her first attempts to write songs. She continues her higher education at The Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts in Plovdiv. Meanwhile Videlina took private lessons in classical singing for one year. She graduated from The Academy in 2001 with classical piano.
One year later Videlina joined the band Free Style and began working on the creation of original music. In 2004 Free Style shoot their first video “When She Wants” and in 2005 the song wins the “Real Talents” competition held by BG Radio and Jim Beam. In 2008 at “The King’s Stables”, Plovdiv, Free Style presents their second video “Beautiful Things”. Director and screenwriter is Rushi Videnliev. The song is remixed by DJ Mr. Moon.
Over the years, Free Style has numerous of concerts at home and abroad: Rorschach Stain, The King’s Stables, Marmalad, Fashion Café, Gepy, Pacific Club, Tequila, Roxberry, Rozenhoff, – Plovdiv; Swinging Hall, O’Shipka, The Mask, Pop Art Café, Sofia Live Club – Sofia; Roxy Club – Burgas; Rock in Rilla – Borovets; Pirdop Fest; Honky Tonk Festival – Plovdiv; Apolonia; Music Beach – Shkorpilovtsy; Ardas Fest – Greece; Concert on the occasion of accession of Bulgaria to the EU (2005); Charity Concert "SOS Children's Villages - NDK Hall 1, with Rushi Videnliev, Maria Ilieva, Grafa, Karizma, Signal etc. (2005); “ Six years Hilton” – Sofia (2007); Spirit Of Burgas” (2009) etc. At the end of 2010 Videlina becоme a soloist of Big Band Plovdiv. Her latest collaboration is with the well known bulgarian jazz singer Vassil Petrov - "The Pop Concert" - Apolonia 2011.
She participates in many jazz, funk, soul and house projects with various musicians and DJ-s:
- “Jazz Evenings” at The Spot and Marmalad – well known night clubs in Plovdiv, where she was performing popular and jazz music with piano and percussions;
- “Burn The Night” - Sunny Beach, Arena St. Vlas - dance show with, sketches, handstand balancing and live music;
- “Monday Jazz” at The Spot, Plovdiv /projects with various musicians/;
- Mr. Moon Project – house music with live instruments and vocals;
- Funky Project – with DJ, vocals and live instruments – piano and guitar;
- Wonder’s Lab – with DJ Wonder – house music with vocal;
- "The Pop Concert" Apolonia 2011 - Project with Vassil Petrov.
Her style blends R&B, funk, jazz and neo soul elements and was influenced by music of artists from different generations such as: Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, Earth, Wind and Fire, Michael Jackson, Incognito, Sade, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and others.
