Composers Jode Steele & Dave Wainwright AKA Verbal Vigilante have been writing together for over 10 years. A combination of a classical background and cutting edge music production underpins their music and approach to each project. They have written & recorded live orchestral pieces for Hollywood movie trailers and created unique cinematic sound design for major film studios such as Warner Bros., Universal Pictures, Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Pictures and 20th Century Fox. Their work has featured in over 60 of the biggest motion picture advertising campaigns over the last 4 years; including The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, Captain Phillips, The Dark Knight Rises & The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Jode and David have previously written the music and created audio branding for the Sky F1 Channel & Sky Sports News Channel idents. They have composed the original music and sound design for Sony Pictures TV/ITV2’s new international horror hit gameshow Release The Hounds. Their most recent work for TV is "Bear Grylls Survival School" on ITV. They are scoring an animated adaption of the children’s book The Fearsome Beastie for Slurpy Studios, starring Brian Blessed and Alison Steadman. Jode & Dave are also writing the original soundtrack & sound-design for the upcoming fantasy adventure game “Wulverblade“, coming soon to Xbox One.
