On any Thursday … of 2015
My protective angel abandoned me …
All the doctors believed that I would not wake up from the coma.
Minus one: THANKS CARLOS. Thanks to your words, my family kept hope. An incredible word: hope. And so necessary in these moments.
After 30 days in a coma, I woke up and just needed to hug my twin sister (I love you rox). That he would curl up with me, in my hospital bed in the ICU, and hug me. Nothing else needed at that moment. Only her.
My angel had returned with me.
My parents took me immediately home, to begin a neurorehabilitation treatment, which today I also continue. Also I am studying a master of musical production that I am finishing. ( at last ..) . In all this hard process my father (you are my hero dad) and music have been my life. First the music of others and now with mine, I have been able to move forward without leaving a single day of having hope, confidence, without leaving a single day of believing in the effort, the only way to achieve a better future.
A future that allows me to share my music, my feelings with you and raise our arms together in victory. Each note, each compass, gives me strength, light, and desire to embrace the person that I have in that moment by my side. It makes me want to smile, to give thanks to the life that offered me a second chance to continue living (and I do not intend to waste) to share, to give everything. But above all … of sharing. With all of you, with you.
When you think that your angel has abandoned you, write me, tell me what happens to you and, I will try to help you out of the best and perhaps only way I know. Making music.
With hope (nice word) to help you like me, to continue …
And when you listen to it, you feel it so much, enjoy yourself so much, … that you feel a little better and stronger …
And my mission, will be completed successfully.
My deep thanks to the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza team for their immense generosity with me in these two years. I love you: Manu, Arantxa, Joost, Ana and, of course, Ivan.
You are an example for me of generosity.
I also thank Yann for the love he showed me that night that he introduced me to Kygo. To my admired producer Kygo I can only say: thank you for helping me with your music in my worst moments.
By your side… Veluzz was born.
