lament for hobos in the age of hyperloops [disquiet0086-hyperloop] by vanWinkle published on 2013-08-24T21:34:38Z DESCRIPTION: Musk's Hyperloop train has no wheels and wouldn't produce the comforting, loping rhythms that I enjoy so much about traveling by rail or when listening to a string of box cars rumble by. So I imagined a soundtrack to be played for Hyperloop passengers that hints at those rhythms and the other noises that one hears from a traditional train. The tune is dedicated to the hobos for whom there will be no convenient access to such a train snuggled so tightly inside of a sealed and pressurized tube. No more level crossings either, or junctions, or cows on the track (I hope!) :) 2013-08-28T03:14:19Z Comment by Masaya Ozaki Awesome! 2013-08-27T06:25:32Z Comment by lowkeynw I agree with others. These make a nice coda, but I almost missed them because they are so much softer. 2013-08-26T12:55:24Z Comment by naotko yes same as iphone has mechanical shutter clicks that makes sense! 2013-08-26T08:15:51Z Comment by naotko great! 2013-08-26T08:13:42Z Comment by Untaut I felt the steady pace. Alternating LR beats made me picture flying through bright lights set around the track/tube. Toward the end this became the tunnel from 70's Dr. Who. Enjoyed. 2013-08-26T04:01:44Z Comment by Yon Pinnacle They should use this for the Hyperloop train whistle! Nice sounds... 2013-08-25T05:52:10Z
