Vanessa Stacey’s third independent single ‘Will We Learn.’ While lyrically conscious and featuring an excerpt from Maya Angelou’s poem ‘A Brave and Startling Truth’. The track delivers an upbeat, future Jazz and Funk fusion, stealthily brought to life by Vanessa and her live band The Shuffle: Johnny Lawrence (EWH) on Bass, Sam Notman (Thomas Oliver) on Drums, Matthew Steele and James Illingworth (Bliss and Eso) on Keys and Ashton Sellars (Deva Mahal) on Electric Guitar.

Recorded in The Albemarle, a red stickered heritage building and once famed bordello in the heart of Wellington. This uniquely beautiful yet desecrated space reverbs and vibe have fully imprinted these recordings. Engineered and mixed by Ricky Simmonds Music and mastered by Leon Zervos at 301 in Sydney.
