Valerio Lepori Composer and Trombonist Zurich Valerio Lepori, born 1989 in Zurich, started playing the trombone when he was 8 years old and successfully completed his master’s degree in music education and composition in January 2016. He studied the trombone with Nils Wogram, Andreas Tschopp and Markus Wüest and composition with Ed Partyka and Dieter Ammann. At the age of 16 he taught himself how to play the piano and wrote several compositions and arrangements for various ensembles. Additionally he also plays the trombone in a number of bands including Klischée, NLB-Electronics, Der Grosse Bär and others.
