valeriabonafe Valéria Bonafé São Paulo Valéria Bonafé was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She studied at the University of São Paulo and at the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Her music has been performed in concerts and festivals in Belgium, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, USA, and around Brazil. Her more recent research and creative work deals with sonority and sound image, memory and affect, orality and listening, sound poetics, sound autobiography and sound cartography. She is one of the founders of Sonora: musics e feminisms.
