Amazing Grace - Trail of Tears by user779060191 published on 2015-07-22T04:19:44Z This hymn was sung by the Cherokee as they were forced to march from their ancestral lands to a reservation as a result of the Indian Removal Act of 1830. The harshness of the march and cruel conditions led it to be called the Trail of Tears. I chose a double flute to represent opposing forces. Performed as a single improvised take, with no editing or studio effects. Recorded live on location at Mt. Wilson Observatory in the 100-inch telescope dome. This track is from the album Under the Stars and is available for purchase on CD Baby here: http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/joannelazzaro Genre Flute Comment by rkasckow So beautiful and evocative. 2015-09-25T17:27:44Z Comment by user779060191 Recorded live on location at the Mt.
