I Destroy The Enemy - Eric Gradman (1990) for Futures Past - Ian de Gruchy by GSPF published on 2017-07-20T03:54:21Z Soundscape for Futures Past, by Ian de Gruchy. 'Futures Past' is the reworking of a previous projection piece created by the artist 30 years ago whilst living in New York. Titled 'I Destroy The Enemy', it was a montage of photographed image fragments from the walls of New York, Amsterdam and the Berlin Wall inter-spliced with other graphic images. It is prophetically apt given the weird parallels in which we find ourselves; a dystopian world where the characters and issues have changed – yet there are disturbing similarities with the past. Eric composed this piece for the original 'I Destroy The Enemy'.
