This recording is a sketch of Movement 01 \\ 15.02 - 16.02.

As the prelude to the project, it presents an empty ballroom, gradually filling as the musicians begin to play and A CURIOUS DANCE unfolds.

The context and material for this project are rooted in the histories of Bedlam (Southwark London), narrated by two uilleann pipers experimenting with layered voices and imagery. The music will relay the story of "wandering anticks [sic]” through the recreation of the annual patients' ball.
