It all started with a nature walk when I left my camera behind and recorded the surroundings with a guitar and looper instead. It just so happened that it was winter time on the north coast of Estonia, a very uncomfortable place to be… but it’s where my “own” sound emerged, the sound that I had been hunting for, for a long time. Perhaps one must feel a bit cold and hurt to open up for inspiration.

In addition to the wintry moments captured on the northern coast, I have also been inspired by envisioning historical events and interpersonal micro- macro- and semi-cosms.

All the sounds and rhythms on this album were produced on the guitar by using different techniques and electronic effects.
