Minnesota is known for fragrant fir trees, sparkling lakes, and snow-covered landscapes. But the North Star State is getting warmer and wetter, and climate change is the main culprit. As a proud Minnesotan, I have seen these changes in my own lifetime – a mere 21 years. And I have found that every Minnesotan has a story like mine: a story of a changing climate and a damaged environment. These stories are the key to saving our natural world. They share our personal connection to the environment and inspire change among people. While politics interfere and pandemics empower, Minnesotans can agree that our landscape deserves to be restored and maintained for future generations.
