Clare & Ezekiel DuBois One of the first musical influences in Clare’s life was that of singer John Michael Talbot in the 1980’s. The lyrics of his songs, as well as the writings of St. Francis, set the momentum for her to seek the more intimate, hidden life with Christ. In time, she met and married Ezekiel, another gifted musician. She learned a great deal about being still before the Lord and forsaking the allurements of the world, which later would deeply influence her music. At age 58, Jesus anointed Clare with her own gift of music. She credits many of her landscape sounds to her sweet memories in the wilderness as a nature photographer. Currently, her focus is on songs co-written with Jesus, played and sung to draw many into the presence and sweet chambers of our Lord.
