Episode 9 - Mainstreaming the Social Economy: Porto Summit and COFOE by Social Economy Europe

This episode centres around a conversation between Nicholas Clark Policy and Communications Officer and Victor Meseguer, Director of Social Economy Europe where we discuss the importance of the recent Porto Social Summit. Key messages from the summit are discussed as well as reasons why the social economy has enormous added value in achieving each of the Key targets from the action plan for the European Pillar of Social Rights, which was at the heart of the Porto Social Summit. The discussion touches upon many of the milestones that signify the success of the social economy in the EU agenda and shows how it is in the process of mainstreaming. We then introduce the Conference on the Future of Europe (COFOE), as an opportunity to raise awareness of your ideas and to fully mainstream the social economy in the European Union´s agenda. The final section of the Podcast provides you with clear instructions on how you can participate in the Conference on the Future of Europe. We use our upcoming EU Green Week Partner event on Social Economy Solutions Towards Zero Pollution as an example of an event in the CoFoE.
