Farren Final Project - Family Fun and Corona by Jack Farren

When I was thinking about what would make for a good podcast topic for this submission, it took me a few days to really narrow down what I wanted to focus on. I knew I wanted to do a story on a specific experience I have had in the recent past and I got to thinking about what would make for the best podcast.

There were two things that really stood out to me in terms of what would make a successful podcast: my father's battle with cancer and the COVID-19 pandemic. I thought it best to do a story on how my family handled quarantine, especially with my father who had recently won his battle with cancer.

These two events are the most profound and difficult experiences I have gone through in my life, and I have never really gone into detail with anyone about it. So, I figured why not lay it all on the line and tell this story once and for all. Hopefully, some people can resonate with my story and feel more comfortable sharing their experiences with the pandemic, and if not, hopefully they at least enjoy listening to mine.
