Flirting With Mischief
©Gene Maynard/Jolene Marlo
I met a girlfriend, in bad weather, she calls on me when ever,
She told me she was at the end of an endeavour, to make her love better,
She tried everything from candle wax, to feathers and lace and leather,
But it was at this point, where things would get severed,
No matter the measure of her kiss,
I told her that…
She's only flirting with mischief,
She's always flirting with mischief, mischief, mischief.
Now it was plain to see, that he would eventually leave her, he was a deceiver,
Seems he caught some kind of fever from a temptress, a teaser, she was a dream weaver,
A spell binder, a tiger and screamer, in fact a real pleaser in bed an appeaser,
She transformed him over night he became, an instant believer, she was dream weaver,
Yes he thought…
He's only flirting with mischief, (x3)
He's always flirting with mischief, mischief, mischief.

Well the story ends on a cold night, a sting like dry ice, I'll give you some advice,
If you’re looking for answers in your life, to fix all your troubles and mend all your love strife,
The Band-Aid solutions will vary, depending on your type, be wary of your vice,
And remember the perils of Eden and think twice, look into your heart to find insight,
You’re only flirting with mischief, (x3)
You’re always flirting with mischief, mischief, mischief.
