She writes and performs music that holds up a mirror to human existence, drawing inspiration from personal experience. Engaging her audience with emotive lyric and relatable melodies, Georgia provokes an attentive silence from her audience. Since moving to Edinburgh 4 years ago, Georgia Rose’s music style and taste have evolved. She was introduced to many different types of genres and found her love for country, folk and pop music. These genres have undoubtedly brought her to write her own repertoire and have influenced her writing style. Georgia is currently writing original material with the intention of recording her debut EP in autumn of 2018. Her Debut EP will explore original material relating to delicate day to day circumstances, including ‘Crazy Feeling’ and ‘Broke’, both well-known songs by her fans. She can be seen around Edinburgh performing her country- folk imbued covers of pop and trending musical repertoire. Georgia is gathering a regular following who share her interest in musical narrative. They are dedicated at attending gigs, as well as on social media.
