Nocturnal Lament by Pandanon published on 2016-06-30T04:53:25Z A little piece I composed for Thematic Thursday on /trash/. The theme was the Nocturnal District. I've always thought of the Nocturnal District as the slums. A dark and gloomy place. The "bad side" of the city. A place you wouldn't want to be caught alone in an alley. Or is that just what the city perceives it to be? I wanted to write something that captures the despair of the poor and "down on their luck" preds who are unlucky enough to live in the Nocturnal District. So, I give you, Nocturnal Lament.
